Elaine Freed Lindenblatt's book "Stop at the Red Apple" tells the story of the Red Apple Rest, the iconic roadside restaurant owned by her family for more than fifty years on New York?s Route 17, midway between New York City and the vacation mecca of the Catskill Mountains. In her talk, Lindenblatt shares the colorful, only-in-America story of the Red Apple; afterwards, she?ll take audience questions and sign her book.
