Description
To mark the final celebration of its 40th Anniversary year, the University Museum of Contemporary Art has invited 40 artists and designers to creatively embellish 40 unadorned wooden chairs, donated to us by the Lexington Group of West Springfield. The participating artists have painted, decorated, cut, drilled, and otherwise improvised on four legs and a seat ? a riff on the idea of a chair! Take A Seat! celebrates the wide-ranging talent and creativity of Valley artists and designers.
