UMass Amherst Libraries? 17th Annual Fall Reception "Jazz with Friends" Sunday, October 4, 2015, 2?5 p.m., Du Bois Library, UMass Amherst. Free and open to the public. Please join us to celebrate new acquisitions in support of jazz scholarship, historic collections like those of the Boston Jazz Society and Borah Bergman, as well as re-mastered classics being added to our collections as soon as they are released. Entertainment provided by the UMass Amherst Department of Music's award-winning Jazz Ensemble I and the Graduate Jazz Quintet, under the direction of Jeffrey W. Holmes, conductor. Also as part of the program, the 2015 Siegfried Feller Award for Outstanding Service will be presented. This award, established in 1998, is given annually to an individual or group who has made outstanding volunteer contributions to create awareness and build support for the UMass Amherst Libraries. 2?3 p.m. Exhibit in Special Collections and University Archives, Floor 25 Reception and program 3?5 p.m. Lower Level
