Fuel Assistance Intake Specialist (Greenfield) 

The intake specialist interviews and completes application intake for individuals applying for the Fuel Assistance program. The Fuel Assistance program provides benefits during the coldest months of the year to community members throughout the Community Action Pioneer Valley service area. The intake specialist is responsible for conducting interviews with prospective clients, collecting documentation to establish client eligibility, data entry, and maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.

We invite individuals with lived experience who are part of communities that have been historically denied a full opportunity in aspects of economic, social, and civic life to apply. These communities include, but are not limited to, BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S, persons with disabilities, and persons adversely impacted by multigenerational poverty or other inequality. 

The ideal candidate will have two years of customer service and office experience in a social services or closely related field. More details about key knowledge, experience, and competencies for the position are listed on our employment website. 

This position is open until filled. The initial review of applications begins 9/23/2024. This is 37.5 hours per week, seasonal October through June position. Pay range $18.02 – $19.11.
