Job Title: Line Cook

Masuda's Cafe is a Halal brunch café in Amherst, MA, serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch with

a South Asian fusion. We are looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for food, and the

ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy preparing fresh, flavorful dishes and want to be part of a collaborative and growing team, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented to quality standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and properly storing inventory.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations during service.
• Communicate any kitchen or equipment issues to management promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or line cook role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple orders at once.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food prep techniques.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
